Nice!
The pano crop works well here. Good colors and feather detail, as well as interesting gound and clean BG.

The larger post really shows this tern off well. I like the water droplets on the tern, though it feels a bit tight on the left to me. A bit of a halo on the terns head, but that's fixable. I like how you got the eye to show well, this is always my problem with terns in dull lighting.

Simon, I really like the stark contrast between that dark perch and the lighter bird and background and the nice sharpness. One of those shots where the catchlight makes all the difference. I might have cropped slightly less off the left and I also notice the slight halo around the black cap.

Simon

The flash worked very nicely under the weather conditions, love the setting, the water in the background and the light in the terns eye. I probably would leave more space on the left but I do like a pano crop with this tern. Halo has been mentioned.

I really like the water droplets on the bird and the texture of the rock & seaweeds (I think that is what they are).

Simon, this is a great shot. The sharpness on the bird is great, but what really makes this for me is the perch area and the details in it that show up so well in the larger version. Adds a ton of interest. The BG is perfect to show off this bird and the catchlight really was needed here.

Lovely quality to this Simon. I'd give it a tad more room on the lhs.

cheers
