I made this image last Friday during one of the most beautiful snow showers I can remember. Female cardinal in one of my Prairie Fire Flowering Crabapple trees. Thanks for looking.

Wayne, this is gorgeous!
Great bird and framing. The branch and snowflakes add great interest. The only nit is that oof branch in the rear left. Kind of distracting to me, to an otherwise great image.

I can really sense the cold damp conditions. The snow is uncomfortable but it really adds interest and depth in this image. i like the dark bark color of the crabapple. It would be nice if the tail were not slightly obscured by the branch but a minor point.

Terrific image as presented. The snow is a big bonus, I think.

Wayne, I like this a lot. The bird is sharp and her colors just pop in that setting. I too love the snow, but for me the one bright flake right behind her crest grabs my attention. I kind of wish just that one flake would not be there. However, this is a very small nit on a great image.

Wayne,

This is a very appealing image to me for many reasons. I love the mood for one, the falling snow, the lovely colors in the cardinal and the wet crest.

Really a lovely image.
