Revisiting some of my shots from Canada last summer. Found this small cascade roadside soon after entering the Icefields Parkway near Herbert Lake. I was especially attracted to the light on the moss and of course the flowers on the hillside. All comments welcome. >=))>

Excellent light and comp Bill, your right the mossy rock is very appealing, and you exposed the water beautifully. Nicely seen and done.

Very strong comp and wonderful scene overall. I could see burning down the sunlit plants at the top to give more emphasis to the flowing water.

I love the comp, and the interplay of shadow and light. And of course, I see how you had to include some beautiful wildflowers. Great layers here.

I find the composition very interesting, with the falls making a nice diagonal through the frame. Also like the difference between the upper (seemingly dry) and lower (wet) parts of the frame

Wonderful light and flow Bill. I missed a lot of these kind of images on my trip to the wonderful Canadian Rockies. Beautiful!

Very nice, Bill. Perfect exposure for the water, and the detail in the moss (and throughout) is especially impressive. Great work!

Bill I think the light on the moss is what is attractive in this photo as well. The top half though distracts from it. Did you make any compositions with just the moss portion?

Sure feels summery Bill! I really like the lighter area in the BG, and the comp is really nice here.

I do not mind a bit cropped off the top of the shot.
