Ghost Deers

This is a fresh one. I took it this evening by a branch of river Danube. At first I tried with faster time but I like this long-time variation much better. The deers were coming gradually, step by step during the exposure. I was very glad to see the result: ghost-like deers.

Every C&C welcome.
Thanks.

Istvan, the effect of the long exposure with the moving subject here is quite interesting. It works very well combined with the mood of the bg scene.
Good result for your experiments.

Istvan,
Cool experiment! I really like the way it turned out! I think the background is what makes it work. If it weren't such a cool background, I'm sure the result would have been very different. Thanks for sharing!

Gosh Istvan, I can't remember ever seeing a long exposure used on a fauna image. I love it!

Another very cool background, brought to life by wildlife. AND... This time, your innovative long exposure adds a whole new dimension. :toast:

Unique method of capturing not only the deer and the environment, but giving the photo a moody feeling. Thanks for posting.

The blue tones contrasted with the whites and the strong horizontal and vertical lines make this shot most interesting and haunting.....especially the ghost deer. :toast: to your creativity and experimenting.

The mood of your image is lovely - the long shutter effect adds to it really well. Very good use of this creative effect

Just as has already been said. The background and the mood of the scene really make the long exposure of the deer work. I like it.

Very, very cool Istvan! As Carol said, I also cannot remember seeing such a long exposure in the Fauna Gallery. I applaud you for your creativity. The blue tone sure does fit the image well as is creates a wintery mood. :toast:

Hi István,

A very different spin on an animalscape - great idea and well executed. I love the bluish snow/ice and water in the foreground.

Well done and thanks for sharing this with us...
