Whitetail Fawn taken in my yard. I changed the photo to black and white in Adobe Lightroom Beta 3. Then I over sharpened it. Imported into Photoshop and sharpened more.

A captivating shot. Starring eyes back at me, the deer seems frozen in time. I like the b/w high key effect. The sharpening works well for the head, esp eyes and ears....keeps it clean... but less so the body, imho, its impact is crinkly matted fur. Nonetheless, this is a solid winner, wish I had it to add to my portfolio. Nicely done.

Very cool way to get a sketch effect, Janet. It looks so good. Plus having the little guest in your yard and catching a great pose, all in all a time, I'd say? :toast:

P.S. I love it with the high key bg, too!
