Recycling

I happened to be on the way to a photo shoot when I stopped at our local recycling center to drop some things off. There were several bales of aluminum cans waiting for shipment sitting outside the center. I thought they made a powerful statement about man and the environment.

Ooooooh! I like this Philip!

Excellent concept and comp, both for your purposes and for "art" in general. I'd sure look for eco-themed photo contests and shows for this one.

There's a strange appeal to this, something about the colours and the textures of squashed cans. I suppose those vertical things keep the bales together; I like their placement. And like you said, it's a statement; I agree with Hank, this is made for a contest.

The squashed cans are very photogenic indeed. I love the array of colors and the variety of beverages portrayed. Congrats on the EP.

Good job --visually appealing as well as thought provoking.

PS - It also made me thirsty
