I caught this wave cloud over the rockies before dawn yesterday. I have more stars in the shot but lost some to web conversion. It kind of reminds me of cotton candy.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

Cotton candy was what I thought of too. I really like it. Strong colors and the silhouetted hills at the bottom make the perfect foundation.

Looks like a fluffy piece of cotton candy  Oh, wow, I wrote that before actually reading your description... that's validation that you're not crazy, or we both are!

Definately cotton candy. Great color, mood, and the silhouette adds a base. Loving the carnival atmosphere. Fantastic work Morris!

It's amazing, Morris. Simple, well-balanced, at the top a bit dark for me, but congrats!

Simple and beautiful. Nicely composed. Are those dots stars in the blue sky?

Yes, Larry, they are stars, and I wish I had not lost the few more I had until converting for web and resizing.

That's some sweet cotton candy. I do see a few stars. I like the softness of the image and I'm glad you included the mountains. Lovely shot.

A beauty, Morris! I think it can be improved though--probably the eye would even out some of the big DR here, som it might be worth trying to brighten the blacks slightly at top and on the right, and lower the brightest highlites on the left side of the cloud.

It does look like cotton candy. It's not too sweet like cotton candy however. Just sweet enough. Very inspiring image.

Beautiful. Great colors and as Tony said, the hills at the bottom help frame this perfectly.

That is an amazing cloud! The light, and color gradient in the sky is fantastic. I like the silhouetted foreground. maybe a little bit more of it to anchor the scene stronger?
