Springtime Hurry Up

It feels like spring is here today in FL and it feels good! I was going back on files and found this one from last spring. I am looking forward to shooting the breeding colors and plumage this coming spring. Great Egret in breeding colors and plumage. I wish I was aware of the high Iso that I could have easily lowered for this one but so much for practice on being aware of the techs.

Beautiful, Cheryl. I really like the pose. Maybe a bit more room. :toast:

Beautiful Cheryl. I love that warm background. I agree there is a bit of noise in the large version due to the high ISO., but I think it is very acceptable.

Nice pose, nice details, background works in your favor. Composition feels tight to me. I'd like to have a bit more room left and right.

The background seems to really enhace this photograph well IMO. Lovely egret.

A bit more room all around would be ideal, but this is a very nicely exposed shot. The BG is stunning Cheryl. :toast:

Nice posture and I really like the colorful background. The posted version seems a teeny bit soft, but larger looks tack sharp.

A little tight, but it gives a sense of intimacy. Nicely contrasting BG.

Glorious background colours and good job with exposure of the bird. An appealing pose too.

I love the colors here Cheryl. Nice pose too. I like the overall comp with bird and habitat. The noise is acceptable to me. Nicely done.

Wonderful colors, Cheryl. Color and sharpness both seem better to my eye in the larger image. The noise looks fine to me. I think I'd like to see a slightly looser crop. Very nice. :toast:

Beautiful Cheryl! Perfectly exposed, very nice background. It's interesting to me, the sharpness seems really better on the larger photo. Well done.

Must agree with everyone else: large version of the image is great. I don't mind the tight comp. What I find especially interesting are the legs in amongst the tangle of branches that somehow resemble the legs. Strange. That plus the light makes the composition unusual. If there was more space around the bird perhaps the impact of the look of these branches would be lessened. I'm fine with it as posted. :toast: :toast:
