I photographed this colourful character, a superb starling, in Tarangire NP, northern Tanzania.

I wish our starlings looked like this, Darren! The colors are stunning. I like the background too You could use a bit more room at the bottom: the bird is almost standing on the frame. Also, I wonder if there was a little more exposure on the bird if you would see more detail. Sure could use a large version image to judge that. Also, it would be nice to know the type of camera and type of lens. Thank you for posting. It's very interesting to see such a different starling!

What gorgeous colors on that starling, ours are all dull. I agree with Steve, I wish there was a bit more room at the bottom and I really like the colors of the bg too.

Looks like a large crop - I'd back off and give it more room and let us enjoy the gorgeous colors you captured not only in this bird but the background

The colors are gorgeous, both the background and the bird's plumage. As others have mentioned I'd like a touch more room on the bottom, I think that would make a strong composition.
