Into the Color

This wasn't too difficult a technique to pull off. However, processing it was a different story since I could only look at it for a few minutes at a time.

I'm not liking the color on this uncalibrated monitor--too much magenta. Decided not to correct it since people will probably see it a thousand different ways.

You got me hypnotized Ron, I don't know if should bark like a chicken now
Pretty cool effect I'll have to try this sometime.

Very abtract! I like it but agree it is hard to look at for very long.

Did you do this by simply zoom in and out?

Derek - yes. I used a 24-105mm lens. I have other shots where I let the tree burn into the sensor before starting the zoom. However, for this one, I started zooming before the curtain opened and didn't stop until it closed.

This is a flashback to my bad boy days! It is making me wonder what someone put in the coffee. Quite the psychedelic look.

This image has its own movement. Interesting technique for sure.

Great effect Ron, but like even you say, it hurts my eyes to look at this for more than a few seconds... Great color.

It feels like it's moving, or pulsing, as I look at it. Pretty cool effect. I generally don't care much for this technique, but I like this a lot because of the great color combo.

THis is really cool. What's really neat is to quickly rock the scroll wheel back and forth moving the image just slightly up and down within the monitor. But don't do it too long. You'll get a headache.

Bold and creative shot. You have pulled it off quite nicely. I would like to see a similar shot with some other color patterns.
