Tulips Everywhere

First time visiting the city of Chicago (spring) and who knew there were tulips planted everywhere. Every major street is just lined with them. Very beautiful to see, although windy as heck.

Olympus E-510, 200mm, f/5 @ 1/800, ISO 400.

Lovely. Makes me long for spring. I like the open petal, giving a peek at the inside of the flower.

Michele: Well it is called the Windy City. And for good reason from my experience. Excellent comp here, especially the open petal. You're living up to your standard. Really well seen and captured. >=))>

Nice juxtaposition of the two flowers, Michele - and well done for making the one falling apart look really good !
