One of the most detailed shots of this species I've seen Charlie. Delightful little thing. The bird

Sweet, Charlie! Good detail where it counts, eye contact and catchlight. Excellent. Is this full frame?

Nice detail; good pose on a tough subject. It appears a bit on the dark side, especially given the +.33 compensation.

Wow, Charlie this is amazing. I remember seeing them when I was in Arizona and they hid in the bushes, flitted about and it was difficult to get the binoculars on them , let alone a camera.

I really like the general appearance of this image Charlie, fine comp. The orange on the shoulder and the yellow face are quite intense, the other colors are beautiful as well (branch, blue in the background) without being oversaturated. The larger view shows very good sharpness, looking at the foot for example. The feathers appear slightly bristly, is this characteristic? Nice job on a tough species Charlie.

Really a lovely image of this bird Charlie. I like the pose, the light and the great view of the head & eye.
