Zantedeschia aethiopica.

Taken with an Olympus E500 at 54mm. ISO 160, f/3.5 @ 1/2500 sec. Handheld. Obviously I had enough light to increase the aperature but was really trying to make sure the back petal started to blur into the background.

Michele,

This is gorgeous. For my tastes it's near perfect. My only reservation is the shadow in the front petal and I'm not really sure I have a problem with it. Perfect dof decision I think.

Welcome Michele. I like the dof you chose, the backlit foreground petals and the dark background. I think a closer crop (from the top) would give the flower more impact. But be sure to keep that beautiful curve on the right. Only a suggestion, it is excellent as is.
