Here's another form the Land of Sleeping Rainbows in Escalante. Thanks for all the comments over 2009. It has been a great year and I appreciate the time all of you have put in to make this forum so great. Here's hoping for an even better 2010.

I have been enjoying all your intimate scenes from the SW Paul. This one is wonderful too. I love the layers of color and texture. It definately is an eroded rainbow. Beautiful work. Wishing you all the best in 2010 Paul.

I knew Tony was telling the truth
Wonderful Paul and your very own rainbow. Thanks for sharing with us this year and looking forward to more in 2010. Is this place far from the iconic subway area or completely different? A fascinating place with textures and colors to die for. Well done Paul

I'm jealous of this one, Paul. This is exactly the type of color that makes me love this area so much. You captured it well. I'd be concentrating on the more intimate aspects of the place, like in my last image. This is on a much grander scale, and I really like it!

This works real well for me Paul--great colors, lines, and clarity. Probably my fav of your series so far. I'm pretty sure that in 2010 im going to obliterate the quality of my 2009 shots, and its a scary thought that you will probably do the same

This is beautiful Paul. :toast: The layering of color and well thought out composition makes for a very enjoyable viewing. The purple and blues are incredible. Have a happy New Year and my best to you in 2010.

Paul, I like the simple and straightforward framing of this. Simple and yet pretty complex with all the details, the fascinating layers and wonderful color you have. I've travelled along UT12 nearby having been to Bryce a couple of times, but missed this area, so I'll be sure to put this location on my agenda for the next trip out that way. Thank for sharing!

Thanks everyone,

Anthony, not sure where exactly it is. I was with the Patels and we stayed in Kanab. Leaving before sunrise had me a bit disoriented.

Stan, your too kind. I was actually going to shoot everything in 2010 with a point and shoot. :toast:
