Hi all

Browsing the file I've remember that september night when we were looking at one of the most awesome moments of nature, the northern lights. It was 60 miles north of fairbanks and we could photograph three hours of aurora displays

I hope you "taste it" slowly.

Superb aurora capture!
The stars and silhouetted forest complement this perfectly. What a great color, too!

I'm sure every photographer has this on thier to do list. But I bet it's one of the rarest things photographed in terms of the number of different people that actually get to see it. Good for you, it's spectacular!!!

Amazing great sweep of light! How awesome to see it- and with stars and a forest. It really looks heaven-sent.

That is a great display you captured. It must have been a great experience for you. My only nit and it is tiny, is that the stars were points and not dashes.

I have never seen these. The one week I spent in Alaska it was cloudy every day. This is GORGEOUS!

Hey Roberto, great to see a Northern Lights shot. We see them quite often here in Canada's NWT. You traveled a long distance to get that shot and I am glad to see it. I am reminded of how blessed I am to be able to see the Aurora regularly. I have been using a lower ISO as of late in my shots (ISO100 or 200) with long shutter speeds. You should try that as well, it always fun to photograph the Aurora. Great job with the shot. :toast:
