The patient eagle

This image was taken close to Cow bay in Prince Rupert, BC, Canada.
I took this image on an afternoon after work. This young eagle, patiently waited until I got at least 25 images, and this is my favorite.

Prince Rupert has one of the reputations of one of the wettest cities in Canada and the photo was taken under a lot of trees in a small ravine. (wet feathers in front of bird)

Comments on the image/posting are appreciated (This is my first post in this gallery) Thanks for looking...

Hello Jose and welcome to NPN's Avian critique forum, it is a great place to learn, share knowledge & critiques and grow as a photographer.

In the future it would be helpful for us to have you post at the 720 pixel limit for the smaller version and the optional larger version at 1200 pixels on the long side so we can assess the sharpness & details in the image. The image you have posted is a little small to see those finer details and critical sharpness.

I do like the look the eagle appears to be giving you and it's pose.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Nice surroundings Jose and there is a moody, wild feel to the image that I like a great deal. You are in a great place for wildlife photography! :toast:

I really love the look the bird is giving the camera and the look of the feathers. Would love to see it bigger.

Welcome Jose! I like the green bg and the pose of the eagle. To evaluate sharpness and details it would be good to see it posted larger. I´m looking forward to seeing more of your work. :toast:
