Silent reflection on a perfectly still day on Inverness Beach, Nova Scotia . Engulfed in this silent beauty, I was breathless.

Canon 20D
Canon 10-22mm at 22mm
ISO200 1/400sec f/8
Warming Polarizer

I posted this in WC a few weeks ago. Thought I post in ESS to get some additional input. Thanks for looking. Appreciate any comments and critiques you may wish to leave.

Dat's nice Eva. Very light and airy the big sky creates that sensation of limitless space and solitude.

The lower part is awesome, great mood and i love the distant birds especially. IMHO, the top detracts from the beauty of the bottom--it's too bright and doesnt offer much to the viewer. This scene is tailor made for thirds, so i would crop for 1/3 sky.

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet, me likes. I agree with Stan's crop suggestion however.

Very peaceful, Eva. I really like the inclusion of those gulls in the distance. Beautiful scene.

I with Stan on the crop suggestion. A scroll crop on my monitor to a little above the darker horizontal cloud makes a beautiful, minimalist pano shot.

Lovely photo Eva,

If you don't mind me saying... You must go back here and get some nice spaced out Cumulus clouds with some perfect polarization. This location would be stunning for that. I hope you know what I mean
Of course a killer light show would work but I think I like the first idea.
Great job

Thanks everyone for your comments and critiques.

BTW - Anthony - I do have several images from here with cumulus clouds and their reflections. Killer light shows..... got them too. Maybe I'll do the cumulus clouds for my next post. Thanks.

Here is a repost with a pano crop. I am not a particular fan of pano crops. I think something is lost in the translation at least in this image for me........ but here it is.

This is such a diverse beach! I really like the peaceful feeling in this one. It counters your stormy/ scary images from here well. The reflection in the foreground great.

Hi Eva,

The color palette is soft and pleasing. I like the repost better myself, but it is your photo and you go with what you like the best. Great title too! Thanks for sharing. Michael
