WOW. One of the best seal shots I've ever seen... a slight smile, excellent detail on the eye, gorgeous splashing, good composition. Truly truly excellent. Since this was shot using a tripod, I'm guessing you were on land?

Wonderful shot. The splash frames its head nicely and you had some great light to boot.

Bravo! This is an exceptional close up of a seal and it's not lying on the beach! No suggestions here, just enjoying a wonderful photo.

Gorgeous! Your timing was perfect, a fraction of a second later the water would not be in such a perfect shape and position. :toast:

Hi Guy,

While I can't add much new here beyond what the others have said, I do want simply to say that his is an excellent shot that's been well-processed and nicely presented here. Well done.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

I love this. The seal has a very happy look on its face, the water is gorgeous blue and, best of all, is that frozen in time splash of water. Don't think they get better than this.

Wow! A great action shot. I love the splashing water around the seal's head. And the seal looks rather pleased with himself with that little smile he has. Very cute! A wonderful capture in all ways. Congrats on the EP :toast:
