Itis September in Yellowstone on the Madison and this bull has taken time out of the rut for a few bites of grass.

Fine bull, nicely posing in typical Yellowstone setting! On the larger view it seems to me you could selectively increase sharpening on just the side of his face and the eye.

Hi Jack,

Very nice specimen here in an equally nice setting. It looks like you were dealing with reasonably flat lighting - I'm left wondering if a slight bump in contrast and/or saturation might help this pop a little more?

Ah, yes, I believe I met this gentleman elk there myself. What a grand specimen he is, too. Nice shot of him.
