Torrey Pines State Reserve, CA

A sunset walk along the beach of Torrey Pines during low tide provided me with the opportunity to photograph the reflective glow of the cliffs. I enjoyed the little ripples of water dancing along the shore, as it reminded me of a flickering flame moving back and forth.

Really nice light and the colors are great. I also like your effective use of the diagonal lines.

Neat! A minimalist abstract of a really big thing . . . an ocean. You could print this the size of an entire wall, and it would still work, IMO. Good eye for the extraordinary possibilities in ordinary scenes.

Very interesting waves here. The glow on the water surface is lovely. That's some special image and I like it.

This doesn't need anything else. It's all about the light. The light is spectacular here. Kudos to you for keeping it simple.

Jimmy,

Love the color here - but also how the lines of ripples connect the upper and lower portion of this simple scene. Also connecting the blue and orange colors together. A simple, beautiful and very effective image.
