. . . of Flowers to Come
Sony A700
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 200, 1/2 sec @ f11

Amaryllis buds shot in my indoor "bathroom studio". This was actually a bit of a mistake in that I metered off the BG to render it white and overexposed a bit. However I liked it better than the correct exposure. All comments welcome. >=))>

Exquisite Bill. Love the title - today it is somewhere around minus 35 - this image makes me feel very hopeful that better things will come.

Ah, I remember this one well. The high key effect really gives it great impact. Thanks for reposting it.

One of my favorites of yours Bill. The overexposure gives it an ethereal quality. It's a very striking image. Exceptional...

Bill, Over exposure is much preferred here. Superb high key execution - while retaining all the details where they need to be :toast:

Wonderful focus on the centre of the bud, Bill, ( you almost feel you could touch it ) and quite superb high key lighting. What a mistake to make !!

Excellent photo Bill. I like the white BG (unfortunately not very often used).

How did I miss this one  It's beauiful, Bill. I really like the high key effect and I love the colors. Amaryllis are such wonderful flowers to shoot. Can't wait for mine to get to this stage!
