Simplicity

Taken in the cloud forest of Ecuador, near Mindo. I liked the simplicity of the rain drop hanging on the vine, and how the reflection in the raindrop was sharp. Is it just too simple? Does it hold interest? I'm not sure about it. Thanks!

I love shots like this. As an example of the minimalist approach, this is exceptional because of the corresponding elements in the droplet. :toast:

Great picture Cam. I don't see this as simple, I see this as someone that is able to walk in nature and enjoy it's tiny wonders as much as it's magnificent landscapes. I like the position and contrast in the vine against the BG and the viewer can look into the detail of the raindrop and see a hint of the outside world. Very cool! :toast:

Nicely minimalistic, Cam. Perhaps a vertical comp to better focus attention on the drop?. A bit of noise in the BG, but a minor nit.
