Congrats to all of the Flora Gallery participants....some fantastic images.
After some more research I found some other names for this delightful litlle flower- Parrot Lily and "Lily-of-the Incas", subsequently the name. Definetly one of my favs of the year!
If I remember correctly:
This was near a west facing window and I probably used two clamp lights,black foam core in the bg.

40D, Sigma 150 @ f/16, tripod,MLU, I may also have used my large gold reflector off of one of the clamp lights.

Very nice, Barb. I like the strong colors in this comp and the black bg really makes the flower pop! Yep...it's fun to see everyone's favs from the year!

I remember this well, Barb. Superb presentation of a flower which, to me, is exceedingly difficult to compose - so nice to see this again !
