Teton Lenticular

This was the view from my house in Jackson Hole a couple of months ago as high winds aloft created this elongated lenticular cloud at sunset. The Tetons dwarf one of several buttes that rise from the valley floor.
Thanks for looking.

Well it's from home, no wonder I have not seen this viewpoint. The peaks are lit so nicely, I'm sure you had the idea of running up hillside there. You have a killer view Roger.

Steve,
If you're familiar with the Jackson area, it's easy to find this view. It's on East Broadway, near the entrance to the National Elk Refuge. Lots of good sunsets here. Unfortunately, I just rent the house at the location.

Very jealous of your JH residence. Someday I hope to live there. Great view, nice shot. :toast:

Roger,

I'm very sorry for your terrible view. You really should consider moving to a spot up on the ridge...

A terrific view with great cloud action and light on the peaks. The only suggestion I have really would simply be for presentation and consider cropping the bottom and some off the top for a nice pano view that really accentuates the peaks, light and clouds.
