Fronds

I'm not sure if Photo Art is the right forum, as it isn't manipulated - all done in camera with a lensbaby, with only minor contrast and color adjustments in PS. Anyway, I like how this came out - not everybody's cup of tea, but I wanted to get other opinions...so C&C appreciated.

Canon 40D. Lensbaby composer, probably f/5.6. ISO 800. 1/350 sec.

I like the delicate capture of the fronds on the fern, I have some problem with the bg and the hot spots. I feel it distracts from an otherwise good image but, that is what you had to work with and you did a good job.

Im pretty much with Floyd here. I love the patterns and light on the lhs, just wish some of that clarity had carried over to the right. A crop to the top of the right side frond would have worked best. Keep at it--you're on the right track i think!
