Western Meadowlark

Western Meadowlark, San Luis Valley Colorado. This was a bonus since we were in the Valley for the sandhill crane festival last spring. I don't do muc bird photography, so any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Nice perch and singing pose Mike. I find it quite difficult to critique the image at this small size though (640 pixels on the long side). You can go to 720, even 1200 if you post an optional larger image.

A very nice singing pose Mike. I too would like to see this larger so I could really critique it.

I like the singing pose you captured and the setting with the frosty, dried vegetation.

I wish this had been posted larger so I could see the details and give a more thorough critique.
