I wasn't too sure about this one, but liked the overall comp, full frame image. I worked a little on bringing out the (under)exposure to resemble what I think should have prevailed in late afternoon light at the Flight Deck at Bosque, about 15 minutes before sunset.

I like the composition in this one too, Bill. The bird looks to be in such a graceful descent. However, this is one where a large version image really is needed to assess this image well. The small image of the bird is the only thing in focus. So, it would really be nice to concentrate on it. Looks great from what I can see, though! :toast:

 Sweet environmental photo Bill. The light and action makes it for me.

This is nice Bill. It is hard to judge the sharpness of the crane in the smaller version, but it looks good and I really like the comp and warm colors.

Hi Bill, Love the background colors and the graceful posture of the bird along with those dangling long legs. Your composition also works well I think. I too wish I could see a larger version to assess sharpness of the crane and I'll bet the eye would show up better there too. Must have been fun at Bosque.
