I love this area, you hike the canyons and can find small Anasazi ruins scattered around. Returning from a long hike down a canyon, we were near our campsite and rounded a bend in the canyon. A break in the trees revealed this granary tucked into the bottom of the canyon wall. I would appreciate in critiques or comments you have. Please see larger version for more detail.

Canon Elan II, Provia 100, settings not recorded. Converted to B&W.

Scott,

I like this image - particularly the larger version. My only suggestion would be to try and brighten the darkest areas a little or maybe just use a gradient and lighten the mg and bg some. Love the mood in this and the twisting contorted trees.

Excellent comp, Scott. I also think you need to lighten the image some to bring the dwelling out a little more.

I might try darkening the foreground a little and lightening the center, to bring more attention to the house
