Cool wing position here Michael, the image quality doesn't look as high as in your previous post, probably the amount of cropping is showing up here, you could try it with the bird smaller in the frame. :toast:

I'd follow Nate's suggestions - almost looks like there's a haze over the bird. Great detail and eye contact though.

The wing position is superb, Michael. I also like the eye contact and lighting. Tight crop works for my taste. :toast:

Nice pose and the birds stare really tops it off. Like the crop as well. Seems to be a slight bluish color cast on my monitor. Also noticed the image is in Adobe RGB (sRGB is the recommended color space for web)

I agree the large crop really shows in this image. I too would back off on the crop and change the color space to sRGB. It will make a big difference in the accuracy of your colors.

Difficult to get these shots. There's an off-white tinge on the bird which I can't quite place (yellow?), also as mentioned some poorly defined areas, which may be due to your preparation for posting. There's lots of promise in the image, though and a great capture.

I like the flight pose and eye contact Michael but agree that there's too much lost with the large crop.
