I like the fish hanging down below, as well as the wing pose. As you say more eye contact would be nice, and there seems to be a few dust bunnies near the bottom. I'd like to see a crop a bit closer to make the eagle more pronounced (that wingspan you captured deserves more attention IMO)

The whites need work. In that harsh light, you could underexpose by a full stop and still get blown out whites. As is, the neck is almost at 252 and the tail feathers are completely blown. The dust bunnies are mentioned. I like the wings and body feathers. You did well at 1/500 to freeze the motion. I agree with Greg on the crop.

Andre,
You don't mention your aperture in your techs but because of the light, ISO and shutter speed I'm going to assume you were shooting with an aperture in the f13 to 16 range or thereabouts?
I would have shot this within the f8 to f9 range for a bit more shutter speed.
The dust bunnies I would clean up and if you shot this in RAW you may be able to bring those whites down without too much difficulty.
Nice having the prey in the talons. I like the wing position.

Nice capture; you've got good suggestions already; I'd add one I got from another NPNer. Try to time the shot so it isn't crossing a line in the background. It's a needless distraction.
