This is a cropped view of the center disk of an African Daisy still in bloom here in north Alabama in mid-November.

As always, comments are welcome.

Taken with a CANON XT, f/11, 1/640 sec, ISO400, lens at 48 mm.

Nice, tight comp Don. The whites in the URHC are just a bit out on my monitor but a minor nit at best.

Excellent comp and POV. The image is a bit soft though. I struggle with image softness when I first got interested in macro/close up photography until I started using tripod and cable release. Then I struggle with setting up the tripod without scarring away the insects :frown: but it should be easier with flowers.

Slightly soft perhaps, but there's still plenty of details, and I like the colours. Nice image!

Like Gary said, a tripod helps, but the wind can be a nuisance too!

Very nice colors. I'd suggest to make the image a bit wider (all sides).
