The light was getting a little harsh when I found this pair. Let me know what you think

Thanks Bob :wavey:

Bob: Excellent comp and the light looks good to me - no shadows and good definition in the whites. My only partial 1¢ nit might be the focus on the center of the lower flower as it doesn't appear quite as sharp as the upper one. However the BG pads look good so you may in fact have adequate DOF. Nice find and a superior capture.>=))>

Bob, comp and lighting look great. There does appear to be a bit of softness in the flower centers, as well as the pads in the upper part of the photo. Nothing major, just an observation.

A beautiful pair, with a very well done diagonal comp. Lovely color and light as well.

Hi Bob: Nice diagonal comp. The white is a tad hot on my monitor (which is not calibrated). BG is fine.

Morris beat me to it Robert. It took a sec for the title to sink in. Cute! :toast:

I like your comp and the colors are terrific. As the others have mentioned just a bit more attention on the centers. :toast:

I agree...I like the positioning of the two flowers. The light seems ever so slightly harsh but nothing major. Nicely done.

The composition over rides the slightly less DOF. DOF issue might be due to the top down and angular way in which this was shot - you did well in my opinion.

Love the whites and the radiant yellow center :toast:

The composition is spot on for me, Bob, and the lighting fine. Maybe a touch soft in the centres but the overall effect is good - a lot of incident all working for a strong image.

Hi Robert :wavey: This is a very pleasant composition  All the colors are so harmonious. Like ram noted, these lilys are shot at a difficult angle, making it difficult to keep all in focus. Hardly noticeable in this fine image.
