Jim, this is nice. I like the colors, pose, and your control of the whites. Good sharpness and comp too. I am not a big cloner, but I might clone out the white thing on the water behind the bird's leg. Oh, and this is a white ibis, not a white-faced ibis. We do not have white-faced ibis in FL.

Nice detail and sharpness. The side-lighting works well with this one. I agree with Ron that the white thing should be removed.

Nice exposure and composition. Interesting how the bill shape is partially hidden by the feathers.

A beauty there Jim. I'd clone out the white blob to the right of the bird and give him a tad more room in the frame , but nicely done.

Nice image Jim!
I also vote for the cloning there. A little lower angle would have been even better, if possible.

I really like the one legged pose and the turned head. Whites are very well exposed. I can see what they say about the white blob and cloning but I really wouldn't have noticed it. I was captured by that beautiful blue eye.

Incredible detail in the whites, Jim. I'd vote to clone out that bit of floating white stuff next to the leg too. Lovely image.

Nicely done Jim. I especially like the contrast of the feather textures between the wing and the head and neck in this interesting light. Excellent exposure also.

this is a neat shot--I like the lighting and the detail. the exposure on the whites is great. obviously the tripod paid off here with the slow SS. I think I'd like a little more room around the bird. I see what folks mean about the white feather(?) floating behind the bird--I guess you could have opened the aperture up more and maybe it would have been less obvious? a pretty minor nit though, this is a nice shot.
