A wet twilight at Herbert Lake, Banff National Park. Jay and Varina Patel came up to Alberta for a visit this past summer and we had some variable and interesting weather. Just recently getting to these!

C&C welcome.

Very ethereal Samatha between the misty mountains and clarity of the underwater elements.

I'm diggin' it. I would suggest a minor bump in saturation in the water area. Thanks. Joe.

Is this light ever special, Samantha! Soft, gentle, and full of great things to look at. My preference might be for less sky.

Love those underwater elements Samantha, they add interest for me. Beautiful soft light.
I don't think I would crop the sky, that would make it look too bottom heavy IMO.

Nice work Samantha.
Those underwater logs underpin the images success.
Pastel hue is delightful though I wonder if it needs a small contrast boost?

Boy...it was wet that day. Nicely done....I love the composition and slow shutter speed used in this photograph. If anything the photo looks a tad too bright to me for such stormy overcast conditions.

Overall the colors and details are fantastic!!

Very nice. It looks pretty much perfect to me, and I don't think I'd crop the sky. I might, however, be tempted to play with a B&W conversion.

Sam, I really like the pattern of the logs under the water and it goes really well with the stormy, moody feel to the image. Very well done.

This has a beautiful feel to it. If I'd crop anything it would be a little of the bottom, but I'm partial to 4x5 aspect ratios.

I really like the quiet mood and subdued (or if you're from Cali subdude  ) color in this scene. The comp is fantastic. This is the perfect image to illustrate that you can make beautiful, if not epic landscapes without an eye popping sunrise or sunset. Well done!

I like the use of the logs for not only their spooky look but major lead in lines for the image. Nice atmospheric conditions lead to a peaceful and subdued feeling. Nice image.

Hi Samanhta :wavey: I like the soft pastel colors and the graphic lines of the logs, It looks like a path to those serene looking mountains in the B.G.

Love the lines of those submerged logs, and the somber mood. I might consider cropping a bit off the top to focus the viewer's attention more on the mountains and the water/logs. Well done.

Very nice layers in the background mountains. I like the foreground a lot too. It's a strong composition overall. I think I agree with cropping off a little of the sky. Not sure about that though. I think it might be that I have to scroll a little to view the entire image.
