Smugglers Notch Vermont

This is an image I had taken this last fall from my New England fall tour that got me to five different states. Anyways this was one from Smugglers Notch which is in Northern Vermont. I liked how the fog adde to the mystery of it.

I've been enjoying your series through New England this year! This one stuck out for me too...I like how the road disappears into the trees, and yes, that fog at the top really adds a lot. Well done!

Next time through New England...let us on NENP know...we got some secrets we hide over here!

I've been snowboarding up in Smuggs Notch before, and it didn't look this beautiful on the way there. Stunning image.

I like the curving line of fog as well as it adds an extra line to your composition that is unusual. This would probably look great as a large print--some of the detail in the leaves look smudged on my monitor--or are they blowing a bit?

This looks almost three-dimensional with the leaning branches, the fog, and the receding center line. A very effective composition of a wonderful scene.

Great colors, Kevin. The wide perspective and the fog at the top of the frame makes this particular shot unique from the other shots of this nature. Really nice work here.
