Love the mood this image evokes, John! Great capture. Not sure but I might want to crop just a touch off at the bottom so the horizon is not in the middle. As I said, not sure...just my .02 worth. Love the colors too,.

I was just visiting your gallery (anyone who calls themselves "Northeast Streams and Forest" is bound to grab my attention) and saw this striking image. Brant Lake, a place I've been to a couple of times, including for a workshop with Carl Heilman. Quite honestly, I don't know of any of the current crop of ADK photographers (I'm leaving out Nathan Farb, the doyen of the species) that has an image as good as this.
