From two weeks ago in Ocean Springs. This is the same individual as the last GBH post. Curious to know what kind of fish this is(?) At first thought it was a Croaker, but don't think they have sripes like this. A few moments later it was down the hatch.

Olympus E-3, ZD 300 F2.8 +EC20, Wimberley I, ISO200, 1/400 @5.7, -0.3 EV, cropped from horizontal, about 1.5 degrees tilt correction.

I like the soft lighting, action and head on view of both the fish and the bird Bill. :toast:

Nice capture with very natural looking color. I'd like to see that fish in a larger version! Sharon

Super shot Bill. I go right along with Nate's comments on this one. I love the eye contact with the fish. Nice comp choice too.

Terrific shot.

On the index page, all I could think of was a GBH that needed to pee.

See if you can find a picture of a young Black Drum (Pogonias cromis). I think that they have stripes and a rounded tail.

Second ditto of Nate's comment. Neat shot and I don't recognize the fish.

Neat pose by the bird, love the look at those legs, and it's a great look at predator and prey.

This is a great behavioral shot from an unusual view angle, Bill. I would like to see a larger version of this.

I love this shot Bill.

Wonderful, rich natural colors, great pose, the fish in the bill is great. The water, shoreline and vegetation really round this out into a beautiful & appealing image.

The fish looks like it could be a Porgie, you should email it to Adrian, he'd know for sure!
