Hi all.

I am posting this shot here in Photo Art because I used the clone tool a bit more liberally than even I usually do. The mist was not created with photoshop, the mist is from 'cramming' through other blooms.

I cloned out a sharp bit of leaf on the right of the bloom, on the right edge. I cloned in a bit of 'mist' into the bottom right of the shot. I cloned out a shriveled bloom.

I would appreciate any and all thoughts that you may have.

Thanks!

Nathan

I love the «cramming» effect! As the composition. Very nice softness.

like a wonderful flower emerging from a multihued fog... I really like this and I like that the main subject occupies such a small space in the photo... I think cram shots are as much about what is out of focus as what is in... great shot Nathan! :toast:

I'm always amazed at how well you cram Nathan, and I like the new subject matter here too. A beautiful pastel image with just enough in-focus as always. I might dodge the two dark areas at the top for consistency or possible crop a 1/2" from the top, but that's very minor. Another great cram!

Congrats on the Weekly Pick, Nathan. :toast: :toast:

I will make it a point to visit all the forums here on NPN. I'd have missed this spectacular photo if not for the WP.

Nathan: Sorry I missed this in the regular course of things but this is wonderful. One of your best IMO and that's saying a lot. Congrats on a well deserved EP. >=))>

Nathan,
Very well seen and painterly... Just a wonderful composition. Since you've gone very painterly, I might like to see more saturation and contrast.. Nathan, this is very well done!
