Photo taken of a Brown Hare, as the sun was coming up I lay on the ground and the sun started to 'burn' off the mist a little to reveal this hare just sitting there   a little 'spooky' I tried to capture that moment with this image.

Very simple, but also very effective.

Beautiful composition and the rim lighting on the rabbit is nice - though there appears to be a slight halo around it which of course can be easily fixed. I also really enjoy the DOF with the band of grass in focus with the wonderful green and pink in the FG/BG

I love the image. I might try to crop a little off the bottom.

I really like it also and agree that maybe just a bit off the bottom would be good. :toast:

Craig,

I agree with the others that I'd prefer a slight crop from the bottom. Other than that, I like this image.

Hi Craig! Love the mood here. I'm in agreement with the other's suggestion on cropping the bottom but I think what bothers me is how far to the right he is. Not truly "a third" comp. Other than that, nice and simple.

Love this one Craig! The composition is great and very graphic, and the misty bg combined with the lovely soft light make for an unique image! Great work! :toast: :toast: :wavey:

Unique composition, Craig. I also like the mysterious look to the fg grass. It picks up the mood of the mist in bg.

This is a good concept, but I don't think you need quite this much space on the left. I like the razor-thin dof.

What a cool shot with perfect dof for the subject and atmospherics. He looks at once like wide-eyeed prey and as if he's serenely enjoying a lovely morning of comfortable solitude. Kudos for the EP.

This is the image that captivated me most this past week. To me this is a very good example of how simplicity in an image can be incredibly effective by creating a very graphic image with lots of empty space without any distractions. The choice of a very shallow DOF further helped in isolating the subject. The image is also filled with color and atmosphere that make this a wall hanger. Congrats Craig! :toast:
