It took 4 attempted posts including re-naming deleting and reposting the file to my server for the link to work properly on this site - only thing I can figure is maybe the apostrophe in the original file name ?? any html pros feel free to comment

anyway - thanks to those who followed this dead end post previously

this was the product of a foggy day on the parkway while Jerry was chasing crazy light - just couldnt leave

the painterly feel (no special processing , ortonization etc) brought Bierstadt's name to mind - so presumptuously named with his

mamiya 645 p45 75-150 - fog

Laurent - the file is unchanged except a minor contrast boost - reduced jpeg quality to 11 to get under 500k - though its never been an issue before as far as linking - deleted the original file on my site and renamed the file without an apostrophe questioning whether there was something crazy about the url - Jim had suggested that the original url was overly long and might be an issue but changing "Blue Ridge Parkway" - 3 words to to "BRP" - one word failed to resolve the issue - but I was able to get to the failed posts and delete them prior to comments except the first time

THere is an interesting glow-like quality to some of the lighter greens and pinks that increases the overall interest for me. Why not skip linking and just upload images to NPN's server?
