Drilling Storm

This is a Drilling Rig drilling an oil well in Richland County, Illinois. These rigs run 24hrs/day - 7 days/week to reach their target depths of around 2500-4000 feet in Illinois which usually takes about 4-10 days. I saw the approaching storm and hung around till the magic hour just after sunset to get this nice blue. I used long exposures to brighten the rig and try and catch the lightning. This was the result. All C&C are welcome.

Anthony, although I might adjust the highlights down just a very slight bit to maybe get better detail out of the bright light areas, the scene is an excellent capture for any type of environmental review. The lightning strike is a perfectly added touch to the scene and was timed very well in the overall capture here.
