Holy cow - what a beautiful vision! It almost looks like a surreal sea creature floating under water.

This is very cool. The detail is about perfect, coupled with the dreamy nature of the petals and the swirling petals in the center. Great work! :toast:

Whoa! Lensbaby AND orton?? And you say you're a LB newbie? Hmmph!

Seriously, gorgeous result! Way to go for it. It's a winner. The petals look especially delicate, as if caught by a tiny breeze. That there is still so much detail in the flower center is really cool.

Oh, this is elegant, Michael. I love the feeling of sharp detail in the center and the way the light lines give special form to the petals.

Congrats on this one Michael. It's the only image I've ever seen where my jaw did actually drop when I expanded the thumbnail. Just an exceptional image.

Thanks to all for the compliments. It is an honor to be picked for an EP. Everyweek the level of world class images on the Flora forum is amazing. The ones posted for this week are allready, to me, some of the best ever, and it's only Tuesday. Kudos to Bill for his fine work. All the other forums are of the same high standard, especially ESS. :wavey:

Michael, I am late but enthusiast! One of the most sweet, poetical, romantic, elegant image of a flower that I have seen. Much more than beautiful.
Cheers.
