That's pretty wild stuff. The BG looks very noisy, but 1600 ISO will do that -- you could have tried dropping the ISO down and used a slower shutter speed -- amphibians and reptiles are usually very still (at least for a moment) when approached and a slower ss would still have resulted in a sharp image I believe.

Great shot! The only thing I would have done different is placed it in a natural looking setting. Also the horizon, or actually the focal plane is off and it kinda makes my head lean to the right... That's an easy fix though.
Great shot! :toast:

Great colors and I like the focus on the eye.

How big is this, Borgesius?

Thanks,

Carol

THANKS FOR PRESENTING US A RARE VIEW OF ONE OF NATURES WONDERS  THE COLORS ARE GORGOUS.
I ASSUME THE HIGH ISO WAS USED BECAUSE OF LOW AVAILABLE LIGHT.

Excellent Shot!!!....from your shot I can imagine how dark the place must be that you had to use ISO 1600

Excellent textures and colors on the frog (eggs, too); very nice low angle!

WOW are those eggs or have they already hatched into tadpoles? A very interesting and educational shot! Love the color. (SMILE)
