Closeup of the Columbia river. Experiment with using the dragan plugin with a nature photo.

Absolutely fantastic image of moveing water. Almost monochromatic, and that gives this photo a wonderful feel. Great sense of movement. Well done. Lee

Nicely captured. I've tried a few similar water shots lately but they didn't turn out as well. What settings did you use on this?

Thank you all!
@Phillip - settings:
- D200 + 70-300 F/4-5.6 Sigma, mounted on my gorillapod (little weird looking tripod thing)
- Overcast afternoon
- Shot at F/11, 1/30 sec (the river moves very fast in this part by the rocks)
Phillip, as mentioned in the caption, I did work this one over in PS quite a bit, in particular I used the dragan action (not plugin, but action). It's what gives it the darkness, and the black outlines.

Knocked my socks off. WOW!!!! The contrast between the "gray" water and the rich brown water is stunning. Got to check out this plugin.

The flow is outstanding as is the colors and shadows of the water's surface. I would like to see this as a large print.

Not familiar with the action you used, but it certainly gives a nice result. Congratulations on the EP picks! Not just one... but two...WOW!
