I really admire the commitment and lengths that many here impose on themselves to capture their images. This was a bit easier... Grabbed my camera and tripod, opened the back door, and walked out into my back yard and set things up. I feel very fortunate that this is my daily view.

Well, aren't you the lucky dog? Nice back yard view! I think you could crop quite a bit of sky and make this even more effective. Nice shot!

What a view and nice lighting here. I'm might try to tone down the bright spot in the water. I see some crop alternatives but the way you have presented it is just fine to me.

Great range of colors and the composition is outstanding. I like it as well with a crop from the top to a more panoramic view that accentuates that long point.

Thanks for the suggestions. I usually tend to get a bit too much negative space going. Here's a different crop and I took down the water highlight some. Thanks again.

The light on the horizon is fantastic and really draws you into the image here. The composition is strong as well as it leads right to the subject.
