Hi Everyone,

I've not been around posting or commenting on NPN for what seems like an age. I have nonetheless been popping in from time to time making the odd comment and even more rarely a post. It'll be a busy year for me but I'm hoping to participate a bit more than I've done lately.

As some of you are aware I've have been concentrating on filming rather than photographing wildlife of late and thought I'd post an image that was taken of me while on a shoot a few days ago. Here I am filming with my Sony EX-3 and my beloved 600mm f/4 via an adaptor (With the crop factor I have an effective focal length of 3300mm - don't sneeze, now!). :rolleyes: :biggrin:

At present I'm working on my biggest production, filming the Manx wilderness and all the Natural History that resides there. A few species that once resided in the Isle of Man but no more will be featured in the documentary using still images and I am hoping to call upon NPN members to help fill some image requests later in the year. :cool:

Hello Paul, and thanks for your introduction. It's great to see a film maker amongst us. I hope the doco is coming along well. I'd be interested to see it once it's done. I've recently been watching some of the 'Planet Earth' series of DVD's... just wonderful stuff and very inspirational. I'll have to check out your site, so thanks again for saying hi.
