This is another old shot(2004) taken under the forest canopy. This habitat along a forest brook is one of my favorite places for wild flowers.

Olympus C750-UZ
9.4 mm. (57 mm. equivalent)
1/100 sec. @f/3.2; ISO 50

Man, Wayne, that makes me wish for spring. Wood anemones are one of my favorites in the boreal forest. I like the way this nods away from the camera. The from-behind perspective keeps me looking forward and to the right into the frame.

Beautiful detail -- the FG works and leads the eye right to the flower, well done.

What a delicate shot. The dof is really dialed in there. Lovely flower and, I agree, a great location. Mmmmm, good!

Beautiful image Wayne. I love the way the sharp details keep appearing throughout the frame amid the oof leaves, and the textures of the petals are gorgeous !

Love the curving stem. I almost feel like a voyeur with this view. Peeking from a hidden place to watch what the Anemone is up to. Really nice light.

Very pretty Wayne. Great exposure and nice DOF. I can almost hear the brook, feel the coolness, and hear the other forest sounds. Nicely done.

Beautiful Wayne! The sequence of so many leaves blurred, clear and blurred again gives to me the feeling of the forest. The BG is splendid.
Cheers.
