Submit the other day, on ESS, a similar autumn image using this same technique and the feedback was a really nice surprise, however one of moderators advised me to post this kind of images on PA, so here is my 1st image on this Forum

Your opinion it's much appreciated!

Canon 350D
Canon 10-22
Vertical panning, all made on camera!

I like this Pedro. It has a modern art feel for me. I like that the majority of the tree bases are visible to ground the comp. It also has a very pleasing flow.

As good as the other one which was great, but I think I like this one even more. Excellent and emotional work!

Like Pamela I like this one very much. Not only the effect created by the movement, but also the monochrome feel about it. Great shot.

If this is all created in camera, I think it should be allowed in the ESS gallery. Most of the images there have probably been manipulated more than this one with exposure blends, layer masks, and color modifications.

By selecting the desired aperature, shutter speed, and focus, we make creative decisions to depict the scene as we see fit. Motion blur is obviously a more unconventional decision, but just as creative and fundamental as choosing aperture and shutter speed. Who says that holding the camera perfectly still is a requirement of depicting the beauty of nature?

I think this is a fantastic photograph, as is the other one posted on ESS. Both images are right up there with some of the most creative shots that I have seen on NPN. Keep the creativity coming, Pedro. I really enjoy these types of photos.

Great image Pedro.Back to ESS in my opinion. What is Photo Art? Anytime we execute a specific creative decision or employ a creative technique in camera it is art.
Photo Art should be reserved for special effects (mostly special filters, buzz, gausian blur,ect..) that are applied after the fact in post processing. Just my 2 cents.
