I spotted this bobcat on my way to work one morning. Turned out there were two and I got to watch them snuggle and lick each other for a few minutes.
I applied poster edges, sharpening, and modified the colors a bit. I haven't used the artistic elements in PS much but am interested in learning more. Does this work?

At first look I thought the filter effects were distracting, but as I continued to gaze at the image, I began to appreciate how the filter-created lines and noise act to frame the cat's face.
Congratulations on your EPA 2009 pick for the Photo Art Gallery, this is a really exceptional image, very appealing & endearing too.

I was not surprised to see one of your images in the EPA gallery, but I am a bit surprised to see it in photo art, which I don't visit enough. Looks like a nice image to start with, but made much stronger with your artistic treatment. Well done, both in capturing and processing. Congratulations.
