Amazing image, I did not even notice the photographer at first! Too bad the photographer blends in to the foreground so well, especailly the top half of the body. Everything about this image works except the cryptic photographer. Darwin

Nice one. The way that the photographer blends into the FG works well with the whole nature of the scene, and also adds a good sense of scale.

Awesome light. Love the scale given by the human element.

WOW!!! This is just one of the best images I have ever seen. Incredible. Would you list the technical info on how you captured this please. Was this one or more exposures, or a single exposure with a grad, or two?

It seems like lately every time I see a really wild and interesting piece of coast, it just happens to be from Portugal. I think that Portugal is climbing the ladder of my dream locations to spend some time shooting.
As for the photo, I think its top notch all the way. Composition is perfect, as is the light. I do wish the person stood out a bit more, but the sense of scale is truely enhanced by his presence.
Awesome stuff, Poalo.

It was a 6 sec exposure and even he tried to stand still it wasn't enough. The clothes he were that day were not the best choice fore sure.
Aaron, Portugal haves a huge coastline, about 800 kilo. long, there are many spots to shoot, you re welcome any time you considerer to visit us.
Best Regards

Gorgeous image...this is a perfect image for an ad for photographers :-). Though I must admit I'd love to have seen this one without the photographer in it!

Gorgeous image with amazing light! I love the colours and the ethereal looking water.
My only nit is with the photographer in the fg. I love how he gives the arch and rocks a sense of scale, but for me, he blends into the fg too much.
Otherwise, this is awesome!

Awesome image. Beautifully composed. The texture of the boulders in the foreground is great, the presence of the photographer gives them scale and gives it a "land of the giants" feel. Great sky, well captured.

Everything about this is awesome Paolo, from the light, to the subject, to the addition of the human element. Wonderfully illustrates why we have such a passion for this stuff!

A spectacular shot, Paulo! The only thing I can think of that would improve it would be to wring just a tiny bit more detail out of the big rock and the photographer. You'd want to make local adjustments because the exposure of the sunset is just about perfect.
